What’s been happening:

After graduation, I moved to Phila. and married my PSU sweetheart, Diane Baldwin (Psych '62). I became a Graphic Designer in Phila. & NY. We moved to Cleveland in '64 where I worked for American Greetings. I was drafted in '66 and joined the Navy as an Illustrator. I was assigned to a "spy" ship which gathered intel. off the coast of Israel during the 6 day war in '67. I transferred to Naval Security and Intel. in Wash., DC preparing top secret briefings for the White House and Pentagon. In '71 I began my M.F.A. at Geo. Wash. Univ. in D.C. In '72 I became Art Director for The Reading Project, a collaborative between "Head Start", The Children's Television Workshop, and CBS which lead to my position as Art Dir. for Basic Education Computers in '73. I co-founded The Word Works, Inc. '74 found me directing and designing for The Natl. Inst. of Mental Health, developing graphics for publications, posters, exhibits and TV. In '85 I became the Art Dir. for US Public Health Svc. I worked with the Surgeon General on programs eliminating health threats from smoking, drug abuse and AIDS. In '96 I became Creative Dir. for DHHS working directly with the Secretary and The White House on National Health issues. In 2001 Diane passed away. Together for 40 years, we had 3 children. After retiring in 2002, my new wife, Karen and I moved south of Atlanta where we live on a lake in Newnan, GA.
